Publication trio complete

Benchmark Media completed its masthead trio this month with the launch ofInsto Report, an online weekly newsletter edited by respected institutional markets and superannuation industry reporter Wouter Klijn.

Financial Observer and Self Managed Super [SMS] magazine debuted earlier this year.  Kate Kachor edits the morning online newsletter that covers news and issues shaping the investment industry, a load shared with newshound Krystine Lumanta.

Benchmark Media chief Darin Tyson-Chan manage the quarterly print magazine Self Managed Super, leveraging his extensive experience producing content and roadshows for this heterogeneous sector. Darin’s belief in the SMSF segment as fertile publishing ground is reflected by the 17,000 copies he printed for the magazine’s debut.

The familiar team of reporters recently worked together at another financial services publishing group.  They contribute to a niche publishing pool that now comprises over 30 trade publications servicing the industry.  Can they all sustain? According to Darin, yes, so long as each have a well defined audience and can sufficiently broaden revenue channels.

With only a fraction of the major retail and institutional market reforms close to implementation, we are yet to see plenty of news-flow from the financial services sector, and it looks like Benchmark have timed their debut well.http://oneprofile.com.au/blog/2013/03/21/new-publications-make-their-mark/http://oneprofile.com.au/blog/2013/03/21/new-publications-make-their-mark/http://oneprofile.com.au/blog/2013/03/21/new-publications-make-their-mark/http://oneprofile.com.au/blog/2013/03/21/new-publications-make-their-mark/http://oneprofile.com.au/blog/2013/03/21/new-publications-make-their-mark/
